Arches National Park
After our morning on Mars we drove to Arches National Park.
On miles and miles of deserted roads.
We spent the day driving and hiking around.
Wintery but beautiful.
With so much to see.
Arches National Park has thousands of huge natural arch formations; all in the bright red sandstone of Southern Utah.
We had a picnic in the car from the leftover pizza from the night prior then drove down to St. George and through towards Four Corners .
By the time we arrived at four corners, it was dark and closed. :( We continued on through Arizona towards Lake Powell, stopping in Kayenta for Navaho Tacos for dinner; then back on the road until we settled into our hotel for the night.
